Another piece in limbo

I started this one a year or two ago. It's kind of just hovering in limbo in my digital art book. I always do the face first because I feel it carves out the "personality" and leads the way for the rest. I'll show some of what I have anyway in the event I decide to pick this one up again.

I have so much fun creating though when I actually sit down and focus on it. If I like a sketch, I'll keep building on it until it's something. The problem is real life gets in the way. I need to find a balance between taking time for my art, work, and everything else.

The initial sketch here looks a little crude. But I loved how her costume came out from how I envisioned it in my head.
